This is to inform you of an issue that affected Mission Control. Please be aware that data displayed in Mission Control Scorecards was incomplete or inaccurate over the last 24 hours.

Affected Services: Mission Cloud Score

Potential Impact: Discrepancies or gaps in Mission Cloud Score data displayed inaccurate Scorecard calculations.

Estimated Time of Interruption: The microservices outage occurred from 9:45 AM January 3rd until 9:45 AM January 4th.

The issue was corrected and new data is currently populating to Scorecards and should be complete by 1:00 PM Pacific Time on January 4th.

Cause of the Interruption: An internal microservice became inactive due to a failed data store.

Our Response and Actions

Our technical team inspected our microservices and detected the impairment of a service. The team has released a deployment to resolve inaccurate data and generate updated Mission Cloud Scorecards, and those will populate over the next 3 hours to restore full functionality to the affected services.

We will continue to monitor for any additional anomalies as a result of this microservice failure and have already implemented a fix to prevent this in the future.
